Belize is home to the tallest and most majestic waterfalls in Central America. For instance Thousand Foot Falls cascades water on a 1600 foot plunge to its pool where butterflies gather. This tour allows guests to visit six waterfalls in one day.
This is no picnic. This tour is for physically fit persons to do a lot of climbing. First there is a 30 minute hike then 45 minute trekking until you reach a large cave. Then the rest is climbing. Upon finishing the climb there is a cool refreshing pool awaiting you at the bottom. Then you explore hundreds of feet under cave systems, again jumping from a waterfall into a cool pool.
You finish with a 3 kilometer hike back to the bus and head to the Lodge for supper.
